So...you wanna be a monkey?

People who sumbit things on a regular basis, or who know me well, will be issued a user id, password, and instructions on how to post thier own stuff. If you know me personally, just send me an email and tell me you're interested. Otherwise, read on.

Here is what I need to do:

• Send a submission - you have to send me something to get on the site.
• Pick a desired location for your submission - which of our categories do you want to see your submission in?
• Tell me your name - I would like a real name for my records, but you can use a pseudonym for publishing on the site, just tell me what you want it to be (and it has to be different than one already being used). If this is your first submission, it will probably go up as "written by: a monkey."
• You have to send me something I like or can appreciate - I don't need to share your views or totally like what you have done, but I will not post crap I don't feel like wasting time on (sorry)
• Be prepared to be rejected - I'm not a professional publisher and you won't get paid, but I do have standards. I would say that I will post just about anything I feel is in line with what we are going for, but I'm not prepared to make the statement that everything will be put on the site. So if I tell you what you sent won't fly, suck it up, accept it, try again - who knows, the next time you send something I might like it.
• Be patient - Depending on how popular this gets, it may take awhile for me to get stuff online.
• If you know me, take a deep breath, your stuff is going up.

First time submission:
Place your submission into the text area of an email (coded or not) might be the easiest for me (especially if you don't know me personally).

What I want:

• Comedy
• Movie Reviews
• Essays
• Editorials
• Basically anything you think will fit into one of the categories we have (or, if you think you have a new category that needs attention, let me know)

Just have a suggestion?
Feel free to submit it. If I use it I will try to give you credit (honestly). If I don't think it will work, I will try to tell you why not (seriously).
