Has anyone else noticed how the Schiavo debate (aside from the long-overdue splits in the GOP ) seems to be between the "Respect Her Wishes To Die"-side and the "Letting Her Starve Is Cruel"-side? It is pure cowardice that neither side addresses the obvious solution of euthanizing her to let her body die in a reasonably pleasent way? Of course the reason for this is that the real battle lines are more like "This Is What Our Crazy Religious Funders Are Telling Us To Do " versus the "We Have Real Issues To Deal With, Lets Get This Sideshow Over With." But still, who wants to starve? Give her a megadose of Morphene and lets get on with it . . .
